Marketing proposal · Legacy Custom Solar
Google Ads, Meta ads, social media and a website refresh under one flat retainer. You keep meeting homeowners and building roofs. We keep the marketing running every week, telling the story of why Legacy does it.
Notes from our call on October 1. The plan below is built around them.
You sell from belief: curb appeal, renewable energy and the architecture of the home. You don't scattershoot and you don't negotiate. The marketing has to sound the same way.
Brand voiceSolar tile roofs, metal solar, vertical wall solar and full custom construction with Jim's 30 years behind it. A handful of companies touch part of that. Nobody does all of it.
PositioningAn average ticket near $298,000 and a recent $500,000 close. These buyers search with intent and expect sharp, high-resolution creative. Phone footage won't do.
Google firstTwo posts on Facebook so far, because you're with customers, traveling and on installs. You need someone posting and running campaigns every week without being chased.
Social + adsArchitects, engineers, builders and real estate agents. Put one photo in front of an architect and they'll remember it on their next build. Your new Houzz profile is a great start.
Trade outreachSunSocket balcony solar the moment the governor signs, and commercial designer solar facades in Q1–Q2. Each one needs its own audience, page and launch.
Launch-readyThe lead channel for you. Search campaigns for solar roofs, solar shingles and Tesla Solar Roof installers across NYC, Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, built to reach buyers who are already looking.
"Did you know this is solar?" stops the scroll. We put your finished homes in front of affluent homeowners in your service area and retarget everyone who visits the site.
Consistent Facebook and Instagram posting built from your videographer's footage, plus LinkedIn for the architects, builders and agents you want to reach. We plan, write, design, post and report.
Included at no charge. Your site is already strong, so we'd make design tweaks, add the new video and keep building the AI-search and SEO work you started.
We put your belief into words first: curb appeal, permanence and energy. Every ad, post and page follows from it.
Drone, ground and homeowner interviews from each finished project. We direct the shot list and cut it into ads, reels and web video.
Google Ads and SEO for the people already searching for solar roofs and solar shingles in your territory, plus AI answers like the one ChatGPT already gives.
Weekly posts and targeted ads that show what solar can look like when it's done right.
Leads reach you fast and already know what you do. We feed what you hear on calls back into the ads.
Spend, leads, pipeline and revenue by source on a live dashboard. Every number is shown as it is.
Start small, find what works, then scale it. Ad spend is paid straight to Google and Meta on your own card, separate from the retainer. In the meantime, keep that $50/day Google campaign turned down so it doesn't burn budget before we've rebuilt it.
About two-thirds of spend. High-ticket buyers research on purpose, so search is where your $300K customers show up. We start with tightly matched keywords in your strongest markets, including Westchester, Greenwich and the Hamptons, and add call and form tracking so every lead is traced to its keyword.
About one-third of spend. Video of finished homes aimed at high-income zip codes, retargeting for site visitors, and a test audience of architects and builders. If Meta brings in the wrong buyers while Google performs, we move the money to Google.
First 60–90 days is a test. Once a channel produces qualified consultations at a cost that makes sense for a $300K ticket, we'll recommend scaling it. No budget increase happens without your OK. When SunSocket launches, it gets its own small, separate test budget, because renters and apartment dwellers are a completely different buyer.
legacycustomsolar.com is clean, crisp and on brand, and it already ranks well in AI answers. That's a strong start. Here's what we'd add, without a rebuild.
When your first completed project's footage lands, it goes on the homepage hero along with a project gallery. Seeing it is what sells it.
Website + videoYour load calculations, the "we'll tell you if it's not a fit" call and one point of contact all set you apart. A short video walkthrough shows buyers what to expect.
Website + videoYour homepage work is already paying off in ChatGPT. We'd extend it with service-area pages, FAQ schema and brand pages for Voltaic ICON, SunStyle and Tesla, so Claude and Google pick you up as well.
SEO + AI searchYou weren't sure whether today's website lead came from Google Ads. We'd connect GA4, Google Ads conversions and call tracking so the dashboard answers that automatically.
Website + adsA downloadable lookbook for architects, designers and agents, connected to your For Architects and For Realtors pages and Houzz. It's the outreach package you're already planning, in digital form.
Trade outreachA launch page and ad set built and waiting, so the day New York signs the bill we can flood NYC with it.
Launch-readyOne of our clients is a family-run roofing company, a premium home-improvement contractor like you, competing against bigger national brands. We rebuilt their website in July and run their SEO and organic content. Every number below comes straight from their CRM, updated September 24, 2026.
Website, SEO, Google Business Profile and social only, no ads during this period. Figures from the client's CRM export, Sept 24, 2026.
Your videographer is a huge head start. Most new installers don't have one. We'll work with him directly: shot lists for each project, then we cut his footage into ads, reels and website video. If you ever need a second shooter, our in-house videographer can fly out. We don't charge for videography, only travel.
The kind of high-resolution, minimal, cinematic look we'd build from your footage: one finished roof gives you a website hero loop, vertical ad cuts, reels and stills.
A solar brand whose Instagram our videographer and strategist built from scratch. The feed is reel-first, with drone and on-site cuts of real crews on real roofs. Every post came from footage of the actual business. That's the same approach we'd take with Legacy's projects.

One flat monthly retainer covers everything. You get 20% off as a OneEthos partner, and there's no setup fee.
Google Ads, Meta ads, social media and a website refresh
Everything works together. Your videographer's footage powers the ads, the social feed and the website, and every lead is tracked back to where it came from.
The partnership starts with a 90-day commitment. With your sales cycle, that's enough time to fix tracking, refresh the site, build a posting rhythm, test Google and Meta and start filling the pipeline. After that it's month to month.
You don't have to know what you like yet. Tell us what you don't like. We'll bring options in your style, clean, sharp and minimal, and refine them until they feel like Legacy.
Jordyn is getting married later this month, then heads to RE+ in Las Vegas. If Legacy signs by Friday, October 9, we onboard next week and get tracking, the Google Ads rebuild and the first posts going before the break. While Jordyn is away, our internal team works with you one-on-one. If you'd rather wait, onboarding starts in mid-November after RE+, at the same rate.
These never go through us, so you always know exactly what the retainer pays for.
We aren't transactional. We think of ourselves as an extension of Legacy. If you need something outside the package, such as CRM email drips or an AI automation, we'll just do it. You get the availability of an in-house team at a lower cost than hiring one.
Jeremy, Matthew and the team work with Jordyn directly, not through an account manager. Bi-weekly calls, plus phone, text or email anytime in between.
Jordyn leads strategy and paid media. McKinley runs social and content. Katie is our in-house videographer. Jacob handles operations and reporting. Web work is done in-house.
Ad accounts, pixels, pages, social profiles, video files and data all live in Legacy's accounts. If we ever part ways, you keep all of it.
Jordyn came from FranklinWH and Purelight Power before starting Damaris. You won't have to explain batteries, inverters, net metering or why selling on incentives alone backfires.
A $300K buyer costs more to reach than a $30K one, and that's fine. We optimize for qualified consultations and signed contracts, not the lowest cost per click.
Everything goes in the dashboard. If a campaign isn't working, it shows there and we bring it up first, along with what we're changing.
More real numbers taken directly from reporting dashboards.
Jordyn was Purelight's original ad buyer. Same discipline, pointed at a far higher ticket.
Every closed job is matched to the ad that produced it. That's the tracking we'd set up for Legacy.
A conversion-built site plus Meta ads, Aug 10 – Sep 21, 2026, from their live lead tracker.
A solar and battery installer. Social built from their own jobs and team, LinkedIn included.
Your site already looks good. These show the design and conversion care we'd bring to the refresh.

A downtown Grants Pass clinic we moved off Wix onto a custom WordPress site, with booking, reviews and a site chat. Live since September 2026.
