β˜… What the snapshot says
Small-but-real starting position. 26 keywords ranking is a decent foundation, and 111 referring domains is a healthier link profile than most sites at authority-7 β€” the compounding fuel. The bottleneck is authority, which caps how hard we can go after 60+ KD terms. The winning move is to double down on the KD ≀ 30 commercial/transactional keywords Semrush already mapped to specific pages β€” that's where the volume is actually winnable. The Prenatal & Pregnancy Chiropractic and Pediatric Chiropractic service pages are the biggest short-term levers (see the Keyword & Blog Strategy tab).

Ranking-Keyword Intent Split

Where the 26 ranking terms live

Current on-page mix β€” commercial dominant, informational thin.

Commercial-heavy is the right shape for a service business. The gap: still under-indexed for informational terms, which is exactly what the blog side of the strategy targets.

Traffic Concentration by Page

Homepage carries 94% of organic traffic β€” inner pages haven't earned their share yet.

The strategy fixes this by mapping high-intent terms to service pages and blog posts, not just the homepage.

β˜… Blog Publishing Plan
The SEO blog campaign has 25 unique posts drafted in the shared Drive folder (28 docs β€” 3 are duplicate copies), all mapped to the keyword clusters from the Strategy tab. β€” are published and live on the site, β€” are queued β€” this calendar checks the live site daily and links each post automatically the day it publishes. The schedule runs at 2 posts per week (Tuesday & Friday), front-loading the prenatal money cluster, finishing the regular queue Oct 13 β€” with the Healthy Holidays post held for Nov 17 to hit the season.

β˜… Content Shoot Β· Two-Day Plan
The full shot list for Dr. Hannah’s content shoot at 525 A St, Ste 3, Ashland, split across two days. Day 1 is visuals only, 2:00–5:00 PM β€” no dialogue recorded, everything works silent or with captions added in post. Day 2 is soundbites, booked once Katie has mics (~90 minutes, no patients). Deliverables feed social (IG/FB reels + grid) and the website (hero, service pages, About, blog headers). Never cut: D1 prompt reactions, C1, B3, B4, B9.

⚠ Casting Note β€” Important
The website currently over-indexes on pregnancy and babies. We need real footage of adult men and older adults being treated or the rebalance we did on the site won’t hold up visually. Ask Hannah to specifically invite: one adult male patient, one 50+ patient, one general back-pain patient. Prenatal and pediatric will happen naturally β€” don’t let them dominate the day.
Before Day 1 Prep Β· do this in advance

πŸ“ Releases β€” Magda’s job, not Katie’s

Every patient, child and staff member on camera signs the photo/video release before rolling. Parents sign for minors. Magda keeps the signed copies at the desk and gives Katie a thumbs-up per patient. If a patient hasn’t signed, Katie doesn’t shoot them β€” no negotiating on the day, no chasing it mid-shoot.

πŸ‘• Wardrobe

Ask Dr. Hannah for solid colors in the site palette β€” dusty rose, cream, sage, terracotta, warm neutrals. No busy patterns, no logos, no pure white or pure black. Same for staff.

πŸ—“οΈ Scheduling

2:00–5:00 PM, three hours on site, hard out at 5. The office is closed Monday and closes at noon Friday, so a 2 PM start means Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

🌱 Room prep

Water plants, clear the reception desk of paperwork and personal items, hide anything with a patient name on it, tidy the kids area, wipe the outdoor sign. Turn off overhead fluorescents where possible and shoot on window light β€” the brand read is “sunlit grandmother’s house,” not “clinic.”

πŸ“ Format

Capture everything twice where practical: vertical 9:16 for social, horizontal 16:9 for web. If you can only do one pass, shoot 4K horizontal and frame loose enough to crop vertical in post.

πŸ–ΌοΈ Stills come from video

Katie isn’t shooting headshots β€” every still we need (website, About, Google Business Profile) is a frame grab from 4K footage. Shoot 4K at 60fps, keep shutter at 1/120 or faster so frames are sharp rather than motion-blurred, and hold each clip a beat longer than feels necessary.

🎧 On audio

Don’t try to capture interview answers on the camera’s onboard mic as a stopgap β€” it will sound like a clinic hallway and we won’t use it. Ambient room tone is worth recording: doors, footsteps, paper, the hum of the office. Usable under b-roll and free.

🧰 Kit is deliberately small

One camera, natural light, no tripod required for most of it, no props, nothing to build or lay out. Katie should be able to walk in and start rolling. The only thing needing prep is the patient scheduling β€” everything else is point and shoot.

Katie Is on Her Own Three rules for the whole day

1 Β· One camera, one angle, every time

There’s no coverage from a second body. Where a scene needs a wide and a tight, Katie shoots the wide, then asks for the action again and shoots the tight. Repeat the action β€” don’t try to move mid-take.

2 Β· Katie doesn’t chase paperwork or people

Magda handles releases at the front desk and tells Katie when a patient has signed. Hannah moves herself to the next setup. Katie’s only job is the camera.

3 Β· Katie talks

Nothing on the day requires a second person off-camera, because the audio isn’t being recorded. Katie can read prompts, direct, and ask for a reset while rolling and none of it lands in the footage.

Set Up Before the Day β€” by Jordyn
  1. Confirm with Hannah that the three patient appointments are booked in the 3:00–4:00 window
  2. Walk Hannah through Section D by phone so Katie isn’t explaining the concept cold on the day
  3. Send Katie the run sheet, and tell Magda she’s the on-site point person
  4. Confirm who’s signing releases and that blank copies are printed and at the desk

If something isn’t happening, Katie moves on. She doesn’t wait, doesn’t troubleshoot, doesn’t call. Work down the fallback order in “If you fall behind” and we sort the gaps afterward.

Day 1 Β· Section A β€” General Office & Environment
Wide, calm, no rush. This is the “exhale” footage.
#ShotNotes
Day 1 Β· Section B β€” Patient Interaction Releases required
Warmth and one-on-one, never rushed. Nothing assembly-line. Solo, that means: shoot the wide, then ask Hannah to repeat the same action and shoot the tight. Two passes per scene, not one pass with movement.
#ShotNotes

Patient testimonials moved to Day 2 β€” they need mics.

Day 1 Β· Section C β€” Staff Rolling clips Β· no posed portraits
No headshot setup. Keep the camera rolling on Hannah and Magda doing ordinary things, and pull stills from the footage afterward. Don’t call “action” β€” just start recording. The usable frames are almost always the ones right after someone stops performing.
#ClipNotes

Direction for Hannah: don’t pose, don’t look at the lens. Sit how you’d sit with a patient. Talk to Katie, or to Jordyn off-camera, about anything at all. We’re not recording what you say β€” we just need you mid-sentence looking like a person.
In post: export 6–10 frame grabs from C1–C2, color-correct them as a set so they look intentional rather than like screenshots, and pick the About-page image from those.

Day 1 Β· Section D β€” Silent-Format Content
This is the block that replaces the soundbites on Day 1. Every item is designed to carry meaning without a word of dialogue β€” captions and text overlays do the talking. Nothing here needs a prop, a light, or anything built in advance. Several of these outperform talking-head content on social anyway, so this isn’t a consolation prize.
Day 1 Plan Β· 2:00 to 5:00 PM
TimeBlockCovers

D3 patient journey and D7 time-lapse get grabbed opportunistically inside the patient block β€” they don’t need their own slot.

⚠ The three patient scenes have to be booked in the 3:00–4:00 window
Ask Hannah to schedule the adult male, the infant, and one prenatal patient back-to-back-to-back. If those appointments aren’t on the calendar, the shoot doesn’t work and no amount of b-roll fixes it.
If You Fall Behind

βœ‚οΈ Cut in this order

First to go at the top.
  1. D12 supplement shelf
  2. C8 personal moment
  3. D7 time-lapse
  4. A14 neighborhood exteriors β€” you can get these any day, alone, in ten minutes
  5. D5 home-care demos β€” worth its own quick session later if it gets cut

β›” Never cut

These five are the shoot. Everything else is upside.
  1. D1 prompt reactions
  2. C1 Hannah seated, talking, 3–5 min continuous
  3. B3 muscle testing / AK assessment
  4. B4 adult male being adjusted
  5. B9 infant craniosacral / newborn adjustment
Day 2 β€” Soundbites TBD Β· book once Katie has mics
Plan on 90 minutes, no patients, office closed or after hours. What Katie needs: two wireless lavs (a DJI Mic 2 or Rode Wireless GO II kit covers it) plus a recorder or camera input she trusts β€” one mic on Hannah, one spare, because a dead battery mid-answer costs the whole take. Turn the HVAC off, silence phones, and check for a fridge or fan hum before the first question. Setup: same seated position each time, tripod, framed the way C1 was framed on Day 1 so the two days cut together. Shoot each answer twice, and ask her to work the question into the answer so it stands alone (“A lot of people ask me what applied kinesiology is…” not “It’s a listening-based assessment”). Wardrobe continuity: Day 2 will look different from Day 1 no matter what β€” that’s fine, just never intercut the two inside a single scene. Same palette, different top is ideal. Target length: 30–60 seconds each for social; let her run 2–3 minutes where she’s rolling β€” long-form cuts down, short doesn’t cut up. Coverage: all cutaways come from Day 1 footage, so there’s no b-roll pressure on Day 2. Just get clean audio and a second angle if she has two bodies.

β˜… GA4 Snapshot Β· Jul 12 – Aug 8, 2026
269 new users and 363 sessions in the last 28 days. The healthy signal: organic search sessions are up +10.7% week-over-week while direct traffic cooled off β€” exactly the shape the blog campaign is meant to produce. The catch: 0 key events are configured, so none of this traffic is being measured as bookings or contacts yet. Also note a large share of "users" are non-local (San Jose, Seattle, Singapore) β€” likely bots and VPN traffic; the local truth is 33 active users from Medford + Ashland.
⚠ #1 Fix: Conversion Tracking
GA4 shows 0 key events / 0 qualified leads β€” the "Generate leads" report is empty because nothing is marked as a key event. Set JaneApp booking clicks, phone-number taps, and contact-form submits as key events so next month's report shows actual leads, not just traffic.

What to Watch Next Month

πŸ“ˆ Organic Γ— Blog Cadence

Organic search is already +10.7% with only 1 campaign post live. As the Tue/Fri schedule publishes the prenatal cluster, watch organic sessions and the keyword count β€” the strategy projects keyword count doubling in 60–90 days of consistent publishing.

🍼 Pediatric Page Momentum

The pediatric service page's views grew +200% last week and it's now a top-10 landing page. The 3 pediatric posts scheduled for early September will feed it internal links right as it's gaining traction.

🎯 Key Events Setup

Until JaneApp booking clicks and phone taps are key events, every report undersells the site. This is a ~30-minute GA4 task and the single highest-leverage item on this page.

πŸ“ Local Share

Medford + Ashland = 33 active users (~12% of total). As local-intent posts (prenatal/pediatric "near me" content) publish, this share should climb β€” it's a cleaner success metric than topline users, which bots inflate.

That's not realistic at authority-7 β€” but the 23,770 monthly volume in KD ≀ 30 keywords is winnable now. The biggest single-page opportunity is the Prenatal & Pregnancy Chiropractic service page (17,860 mo mapped, with "prenatal chiropractor near me" at 5,400/mo and KD 7).
