Marketing Proposal · July 2026
Powering Growth for
West Electric.
A focused digital marketing partnership — human-driven, hyper-local, and built to generate qualified leads for CT solar, battery, and electrical.
01 · The Situation
Where West Electric Stands Today
A small team stretched thin, real local demand going untapped, and marketing pulled in too many directions.
Problem 1
Marketing Cannibalization
Multiple people running ads and posts from different angles leads to duplicated audiences, mixed messaging, and diluted results. One integrated owner fixes it.
Problem 2
Content That Doesn't Land
Polished AI-generated graphics and generic ad copy get scrolled past. What converts in CT: real photos, drone shots from actual jobs, and short-form Reels that feel human.
Opportunity
The Battery Window
Solar is saturated; battery storage isn't. High-intent buyers looking for backup + resilience are still under-served in the CT market — that's where the leverage is.
The fix: one partner owns marketing end-to-end — so your team can focus on installs, service, and battery jobs.
02 · Our Approach
Real Marketing. Real People. Real Results.
No AI-generated fluff. No door-to-door. Just digital marketing that actually sounds like West Electric.
01
Hyper-Local
Every campaign, ad, and post is built around Connecticut neighborhoods, towns, and homeowners — not generic templates. Ads are targeted to filming locations that match your customers' aesthetics.
02
Human-Crafted
Content is written and filmed by real people who know your brand voice. Short-form Reels shot on-site with your drone footage, warehouse B-roll, and installers on real jobs. No AI-generated sludge.
03
Battery-First
Focused ad campaigns on high-intent battery storage buyers where the market is less saturated — with solar and general electrical as complementary lead sources, not the headline.
If an AI could write it in 5 seconds, it isn't worth posting.
03 · Scope of Work
What's Included Every Month
A focused scope for a lean, high-intent lead engine — built around the $1,500/mo retainer.
🎯
01
Targeted Local Ads
CT-specific paid campaigns on Meta + Google. Human-written creative filmed on-site — short-form Reels, drone footage from real jobs, warehouse B-roll. Battery-first messaging with solar / electrical as support campaigns.
📍
02
Google Business Profile
Active GMB management to dominate local map results. Weekly posts, photo uploads, service-area optimization, review-request workflows, response management, Q&A monitoring, and insights tracking (calls, directions, views).
✍
03
SEO Blog Posts
Monthly SEO-focused blog content targeting the searches CT homeowners are actually running — battery backup, whole-home resilience, EV charging, service upgrades. Written in West Electric's voice, not generic contractor filler.
📱
04
Limited Social Content
Short-form Reels-first strategy, repurposed across Facebook + Instagram. On-site filming with your drone pilots and installers — you don't have to be on camera. Real jobs, real photos, community engagement.
Separate from retainer: Ad spend paid directly to Google & Meta (recommended tiers below). GHL automation build is not in scope — Damaris will refer to a specialist (see the next section).
04 · Scope Boundaries
What's Not in Scope — and Why
Clarity up front so nothing gets misaligned. Each of these can be added later, but at $1,500/mo the focus stays on ads + presence + content.
✕ Not in this retainer
Handled Separately
- GHL Automation Build — Damaris will refer Ed to Britney, a GHL specialist for the solar/electrical industry, to handle the automation build separately.
- Ad Spend — paid directly to Google and Meta. Recommended budgets below, but that spend is separate from the $1,500 retainer.
- Referral Program Build — can be added as a Phase 2 workstream once the core lead engine is producing. Not included in the initial 90 days.
- Careers Page + Call Center — both would sit outside a $1,500 retainer. Available as add-ons or in a scaled-up engagement.
✓ Included as ideas + workshops
Strategic Support
- Missed-Call Follow-Up Concepts — working with your team on ideas like sending a map image of a prospect's house via SMS after a missed call, turning non-responsive leads into engaged conversations.
- Battery Product Verification — confirming whether the Enphase product line includes a battery-only retrofit option, so campaigns can be built around real SKUs.
- Lead Handoff Workflow — documenting how leads route from ad → landing page → call → install, so Damaris and your team stay aligned as volume grows.
- Monthly Performance Review — one review call per month covering leads, cost per lead, ad performance, top-performing content, and next-month priorities.
05 · Recommended Ad Spend
Where Your Ad Dollars Should Go
Recommended monthly media budget — paid directly to Google & Meta, separate from the retainer.
Tier 1 · Starter
$2,500 /mo
Sustainable pace
Google$1,500 · high-intent search + LSAs
Meta$1,000 · battery + video creative in CT
Expected outcome
20–40 leads/mo · 2–4 jobs at 10% close
Tier 2 · Growth
$5,000 /mo
Aggressive pace
Google$3,000 · search + LSAs + battery campaign
Meta$2,000 · lookalikes + battery Reels + retargeting
Expected outcome
45–80 leads/mo · 5–8 jobs at 10% close
Assumptions: estimates based on residential electrical + battery benchmarks in CT (Google CPL $60–$120, Meta CPL $40–$80). Numbers ramp over 60–90 days as campaigns optimize. 10% is conservative — well-qualified inbound in this space often closes at 15–25%.

08 · Why Now
Why This. Why Now.
01
One Owner, One Strategy
No more parallel campaigns from your internal team cannibalizing each other. Marketing runs from one integrated playbook, so results are traceable and creative doesn't dilute.
02
The Battery Window Is Open
Solar is saturated; battery storage in CT isn't — yet. Being first with focused campaigns and authentic content is a real competitive edge. Every month you wait is a month a competitor closes it.
03
Sustainable, Not Explosive
Target pace of 2 solar installs + 1 battery job per day is a real, sustainable growth number. This retainer is built to hit that — not to chase vanity metrics or top-of-funnel spam.
Kickoff: July 20, 2026 · 90-day commitment, month-to-month thereafter.
